I really wanted to be in this Cloche Party a week ago when
I saw it, but I'm so busy now with my new job that I'm going to
cheat and just post a photo of my favorite Cloche that I saw
this spring on William Sonoma online. I have had all
intentions of making it and probably still will sometime.
I have a great nest I wanted to put in it but I have
never found a Cloche in a reasonable price range.
Any suggestions???? I'm still looking.....theBest price I've
seen is $32.00 for about a 14 inch, which is what I want
or taller.
So thanks to Marty at http://astrollthrulife.blogspot.com/
for hosting this great event!!!! Be sure and visit everyone...

Oh those are so pretty! All my cloches I have bought for a song! I paid 2.00 each for the tall skinnyones that I need help decorating!!! Thrift stores are a great source- you just have to be consistant about looking every week!

Well I've been looking around for cloche's but never thought to check out Williams Sonoma!!
These are beautiful, Kate!
Gorgeous! I love the greens and the nest!
I love the beautiful birdnests shown in these. So pretty. I don't know where to look except at thrift stores and sometimes even at TJMaxx and Ross I've seen them. Not often but occassionally. I've looked on line and the large ones do seem to run in the $30 range. Thanks for participating. I really appreciate it. Good luck on the new job. Hugs,Marty
The $32 price point is extremely reasonable for retail. They're usually quite a bit more... keep looking in the thrift stores, though. If you make one up like the one in W/S it will be gorgeous. I love all the natural material. ;-)sue
I know! The good ones are SO darned hard to find. My husband bought me an apothecary jar at Williams Sonoma. He knows I'd never have bought the good stuff myself. Now that you've shown me this, I'm heading to my catalog! Thanks!
Brenda
They are beautiful!

Those cloches are nice. They are very woodsy.
I wish I had a william Sonoma ...because I want a cloche! Susan
I love those. And cloche's are expensive. My biggest one came from Walmart at Christmas about 3 years ago. It was glue onto a silver plate with a putz style Christmas house inside. I pulled the glass cloche from the plate & us it year round now. I've only found very small ones at the thrift store. Cheese dome tops make a good cloche too.
Thats a great retail price. The key is weight. A genuine cloche, more likely to be expensive, will feel heavier & be blown, ie no seams. The lightweight ones are machine formed & cheaper which they should be. The glass is not so sturdy.
I have an old friend whose a gardenener & uses them as intended and gave me the run through.
Bonjour Kate,
I can't remember the price on the little footstool, but I am going up there today to do some more pricing and will let you know.
Thanks and have a beautiful day!
thx 4 sharing!

This is a gorgeous picture of the cloches!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
~Beautiful!
Love the trio effect! ;)
So pretty.
The little blue eggs in the nest looks like one I found yesterday on my patio, it was in half, so there was a little bird close by.

I can see why you like them, they're beautiful!
I actually bought one at Wal Mart for $10.00. It had a horrid little flower attached to the base, but I yanked it off and spray painted the base...and now it looks much nicer!
These are so lovely Kate. I am always on the look out too but no luck yet....xv
